Two generations

Randall Tucker learned the trade from the late master craftsman J.D. Hicks, who founded Hicks Studio of Flint. In 1985 he opened his own Hicks Studio here in Saginaw, and it has been photographing the same families ever since.

Randall has since retired and handed the studio to his daughter Kristina, who holds a bachelors degree in photography from Grand Valley State University. She has brought her own style to the work and has been recognised for her senior portraits by the Professional Photographers of Michigan.

Under Kristina the studio has grown past portraiture alone into athletics photography, and is proud to serve local schools and leagues across the Tri-City area. Babies first portraits, graduation, the wedding day: we have the facilities, the experience and the creativity to do it properly. We are your home town photographer.
